🎖️INEDNET Joins The International Youth Congress of Esperanto in Indonesia

From August 9 to 16, 2025, the 81st International Youth Congress of Esperanto (IJK) took place in Cisarua, Bogor, Indonesia, gathering around 150 participants from around the world. Among them, only 13 young people received scholarships from TEJO, including our own Grisha Gasparyan, linguist, media researcher, and coordinator of INEDNET’s Media Lab.

Throughout the congress, Grisha contributed actively in several ways. He worked with the Dokumentado team as an interviewer, capturing diverse perspectives from participants. He also led a crash course in the Armenian language for international attendees, introducing them to the richness of Armenian culture through its language. In addition, he delivered a talk on media manipulation, sharing valuable insights into how information is shaped and consumed.

Beyond these contributions, the event itself was filled with inspiring sessions, intercultural exchange, and meaningful connections. The atmosphere truly embodied the spirit of Esperanto, bringing together people from around the world to learn, collaborate, and celebrate the values of openness and mutual understanding.

We deeply appreciate TEJO’s support in making this participation possible and take great pride in the knowledge, skills, and experiences that Grisha has brought back to Armenia — assets that will meaningfully enrich our community and strengthen the impact of our future projects.
