Hamlet Matevosyan, a dedicated member of INEDNET NGO, represented Armenia alongside a diverse group of young changemakers from across Europe at the training course "Building Bridges – Youth Dialogue for Peace and Human Rights in Europe". Held from March 27 to April 2 in Benediktbeuern, Germany, the programme brought together participants to explore innovative ways to advocate for peace education, peacebuilding, and human rights through the lens of youth work.

The programme created an empowering environment where participants dived deep into modern advocacy tools, human rights education, and community-driven initiatives. Through interactive sessions and deep discussions, the event provided a unique platform for both personal and professional growth, allowing attendees to exchange fresh perspectives and develop practical strategies to bring back to their home countries.

A significant portion of the programme focused on identifying forms of exclusion and mapping the local realities of the participants. By identifying structural and personal barriers, participants improved their capacities for outreach and found creative solutions to local obstacles.

The sessions also explored the links between the Salesian preventive system and peacebuilding, equipping the young leaders with the skills and hope necessary to remain active citizens and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Beyond the educational achievements, the project served as a wonderful opportunity to build lasting friendships and cross-cultural connections, leaving participants inspired to continue their vital work for human rights.
