🎯 AIM AND OBJECTIVES

Participants will develop environmental awareness and green competences through non-formal learning activities focused on sustainable lifestyles, climate responsibility and active citizenship. The project implementation will minimise environmental impact through sustainable travel choices, reduced waste, digital documentation and eco-friendly venue selection. The specific objectives are:

Strengthen personal development and social-emotional competencies
Promote intercultural dialogue and European values
Develop practical life skills through experiential learning
Encourage active participation and engagement in society

The Youth Exchange includes interactive workshops, experiential outdoor learning sessions, risk management and safety simulations, communication and leadership exercises, emotional intelligence reflection circles, and practical adventure-based activities. Participants will combine theoretical input with hands-on practice, applying concepts related to teamwork, well-being, survival skills, and personal development in real-life contexts. Throughout the programme, daily reflection and feedback moments will support individual and group learning, encouraging active participation, self-awareness, and peer learning within a safe and supportive non-formal education environment.

🔍 PARTICIPANTS' PROFILE

Number of participants: 7 groups of 6 young people aged 18-30+ & a group leader without age limit, but preferably around 30 years old.
Motivation: Willing to live simply in a rural Romanian village, surrounded by nature, with limited comfort and no nearby shops.
Profile: Youth, youth leaders, 18+ motivated to join this experiential learning
Language: Good working knowledge of English
Availability: Able to participate fully in all activities

💱 COSTS

The organisers will provide the food and accommodation and cover the costs. Travel costs will be counted based on the distance calculator of the European Commission and reimbursed by bank transfer after the course (in EUR) through the sending organisations. According to the distance calculator for Armenia, the maximum travel cost is around 309 euros.
