🚀 City Health Week in Trnava: Empowering Youth for Sustainable Urban Living

From June 3 to June 24, 2025, the City Health Week project took place in Trnava, Slovakia, organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ program. This international initiative brought together young people from across Europe to explore key issues surrounding urban health, sustainability, and youth engagement. The theme of this year’s project was “Healthy Cities: Empowering Youth for Sustainable Urban Living.”

INEDNET was proudly represented by Raffi Deheryan and Meline Manukyan, who joined participants in a wide range of interactive workshops, field visits, and collaborative sessions. Over three weeks, Raffi and Meline engaged in meaningful discussions on topics such as mental health, active lifestyles, and climate-friendly urban planning, and prepared different activities for upcoming festivals at Trnava.

Unlike traditional academic programs, City Health Week offered an open and engaging learning environment where cultural exchange, teamwork, and practical experience played central roles.

Participants also took part in group challenges, community events, and intercultural evenings—building friendships while learning how young people can actively contribute to healthier, more inclusive cities.

The project was an inspiring experience that strengthened solidarity and dialogue between youth from different countries. INEDNET is proud to be part of this meaningful initiative and looks forward to more projects that empower young people to take action on public health and urban sustainability.
