In June 2025, five dedicated young people from Armenia — Ani Tadevosyan, Ashot Mkhitaryan, Alina Tsaturyan, Lia Hakobyan, and Hamlet Matevosyan — participated in the International Erasmus+ Training Course "From Consciousness to Action: Empowering Youth for a Sustainable Future." The course focused on strengthening the role of youth work in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and empowering young people to actively contribute to a more sustainable future.

Throughout the program, participants explored concepts of sustainable development and global citizenship, shared local experiences, and learned participatory tools to engage their peers in sustainability efforts. The training emphasized the importance of youth awareness, democratic participation, and conscious action at both local and global levels.

Representing Armenia, the team highlighted key environmental, educational, and social challenges from their communities and collaboratively developed youth-oriented initiatives with peers from across Europe. The experience inspired them to become stronger advocates for sustainability and to integrate their new knowledge into ongoing youth work back home.

This training course was more than just an educational experience — it was a call to action. As a result, the participants are now working on local follow-up activities to raise awareness and promote sustainable practices among Armenian youth.
