🎉Hooray!!! INEDNET is a member of the European Youth Press EYP

On November 4-5 in Lisbon, Portugal, the European Youth Press had the General Assembly, in which Narek Aleksanyan, a podcaster and the official delegate of “INEDNET” NGO, and Harutyun Tsatryan, the president (Advisory board member of European Youth Press), also took part.

During the two-day meeting, several reports from different bodies of the organisation were discussed and approved, executive and advisory boards’ new members were elected, and new organizations became part of EYP.

Information and Education Development Network - INEDNET also submitted its candidacy to become an observer member of EYP, and after a general vote, the organization was elected as a member organisation. From now on, INEDNET is an observer member, which gives the organisation an excellent chance to cooperate with other media-making organisations members and voice out issues related to media-making and young journalists' education in Armenia. The second good news is that Narek Aleksanyan, nominated and endorsed by INEDNET, also applied to become an executive board member of EYP. After the voting, he was elected by the majority saying yes to his candidacy.

"I'm delighted and motivated to become a part of the executive board of the European Youth Press. I hope that my time and voluntary contribution will help to discover talents and develop the abilities of young journalists in Europe. I will also try to highlight the needs of young Armenian journalists and media makers through this amazing network". Aleksanyan shared his impressions․

The new executive board members for the upcoming year are: Iva Kuljača, Sofiya Tryzub-Cook, Renate Karlsmoen, Monika Kmeťová and Stefano Zamparo, Jonathan Hendrickx and Anna Majholm. Anastasiia Tyukhtina was elected as the treasurer of the EYP for the next two years.

INEDNET team congratulates these motivated young people for their new positions and wish them a fruitful mandate.
